No Doubt Nintendo will come up with some story about how they were overwhelmed and once again it is due to the unparalled success.... I say Bollox.

What a fcking mess. Mario Strikers was launched on Friday, the first Wii online title. The online system went down at 6pm Friday evening, it was still not back at 2am. Great Launch day.

Day 2 - 9:30 am, Hey wow Mario is working again...Played a couple of games, got booted eventually but after a couple of attempts could log back in. Went to pub... 5:15, guess what its Down again, no logging in for me (and its now 18:30)....

So it is not a success it is tosh.... They know how many machines they sold (all internet capable) they made and distributed the number of copies of the game so how the fck is it that the servers are unreachable....

Nintendo must have learnt a few tricks from Sony about online play and supporting Europe.

It was up at 10pm when I tried again, Played 1 (best of 3 game = 9 minutes) then got Dc'd...after a few attempts was back on again, then had a friendly against my brother online (best of 3 games = 9 minutes) and before we could play a second it went off. So after trying to connect for another 15 mins at 11pm I gave up.

Ninetndo look like they should have stuck to the "get your mates round" mentality.
