Sony said that it might get launched at a later date when the price has dropped low enough to be affordable, specialists predict that on current console trends and price points this will be somewhere around 2015, roughly a year after the launch of PS4. The Irish Govt welcomed the news saying that the countries 2mb connection from BT (the National Provider in Neighbouring UK) is already stretched to the limits. This coupled with the depletion of fossil fuels, that most caravans require for their generators, would put a mighty strain on infrastructure and the economy. However, not everyone has welcomed the news, EA who distribute the best selling Sims franchise were planning a launch title designed for the Irish market entitled SIMS : The Potato, where gamers get to plant a potato and see it through its growing life and onto a dining table. Another title (also published by EA) that was due to be available before Xmas 2007 was based on the best selling Command and Conquer series called Campsite and Carnage, players would either play the part of roamers moving into villages and towns or on the side of the authorities trying to move them on, early demo versions had seen a multitude of mini games such as "Rob thy Neighbour" and a mock "GTA" called Grand Theft Tractor : Farm Land Stories. (wrong room i know) why can't we play americans on socom? i know some one's gonna say, it's too far away, and it will lag, and they'll sponge like fuck... but the way i see it is, that ireland is next to us, and i've played people from the other side of europe with better connections. _________________ I pity you. just a little bit.
