Human or Chimera |
|
A lot of people on CG seem to think that Chimera have an advantage. Which makes sense- they can see through walls a decent distance... not across the map but know whats in the next room is always good. And the increased damage of rage mode really does help when its a Bullseye versus M5 situation.
But I prefer to be human. Chimera outside rage mode are very slow, and their sprint isn't as fast as the human sprint. The Chimera overheat so they have to slow down every so often. And the humans get a frag grenade every time they spawn, which is a bit more firepower when its needed.
In fact I think the Chimera are overdependant on rage mode- they need it to kill people due to the speed and damage it provides, without which the Chimera would be torn apart. But having to be in rage mode while killing people prevents their health from recharging for that little bit longer- just enough time for another human to catch you at a quarter health. And having to move so slowly... I just can't resist getting that boost of speed so when I actually get into a fight my rage bar is half way up already!
